EXA (extreme agitation pump option)
Both d-s & 3-s pump modules may be fitted with the EXA option.
EXA (extreme agitation) is utilized for tank mixing of compatible products such as fungicides, trace elements etc. into the main carrier liquid.
The EXA pump is a Bertolini 2136 poly pump fitted with an adjustable PRV. The PRV controls the flow directed to the 4X in-tank mounted agitators. Increasing the flow causes the agitators to operate at an increased pressure. Decreasing the flow - (allowing more flow to be dumped back to tank), will mean that the agitators will operate at a lower pressure. Generally the agitator venturis will not operate efficiently below 5 bar. (500 kpa).
Simply, if you need more agitation increase the operating pressure. If the agitation is deemed too severe, lower the operating pressure.
