Test Facility

At Liquid Systems we have a powerful commitment to research and development.

In the space of only five years we have designed and developed the most comprehensive range of broad acre liquid banding systems in the world and our test facility has been a major contributing factor in allowing us to achieve this distinction.

The ability to operate, observe and precisely monitor pumps, flow meters, valves, rate controllers and terminal streams is crucial for designing highly accurate and efficient liquid banding systems.

Our test facility is also utilised for the purpose of testing product compatibility and flowability by numerous liquid fertiliser and trace element manufacturers including CSBP, Incitec Pivot, Fertisol and AgriChem.

Central to our testing regime is an 80 station metering system with 'snap-on' assemblies for quick adapting or removal of metering and terminal stream devices.

A 7.5 Kw. hydraulic power pack incorporating a flow monitor package provides the power source to test run all our hydraulic drive pump modules.


A 600 litre mobile tanker with multiple porting facilities for suction and discharge functions and inbuilt 'super agitator' serves as the reservoir for all testing procedures.

A comprehensive array of electronic test equipment including pulse generators which create artificial ground speeds and liquid flows and oscilloscope facility to measure and record wave patterns created by flow meters further complements our test facility.
